My story
Originally from London UK, I live and work in Cape Town, South Africa, surrounded by mountains, forests, beaches … a real paradise. Where else can you be in the wilderness a few minutes from the city?
My photographic interests include nature, people, concerts, architecture and close-ups as you can see from this selection of my work in both colour and monochrome.
I use Nikon gear – currently Nikon D7200 with 18-140mm f3.5-5.6, 40mm f2.8 Micro-Nikkor, 10-20mm f3.5 Sigma wide angle zoom.
I started my photographic journey with an Olympus OM system back in the ’70s, shooting slides and black & white film and cutting my teeth with my own darkroom.
I finally took the plunge into digital in 2005 with Panasonic FZ cameras.
